BASINS 4.0 - 2008-08-08

Any previous version of BASINS 4 should be uninstalled before proceeding.


If this computer has BASINS 3.1 installed:

Adding BASINS 4 will replace some of the files used by BASINS 3.1. 
Both should still function properly, but if BASINS 4 is removed, 
then BASINS 3.1 will need to be re-installed.


Changes since 2007-11-01 Update of BASINS 4.0:

Updated MapWindow components to candidate Version 4.5

All downloaded data handled by new data download tool from D4EM 
(Data for Environmental Modeling) project.
New data download sources NLCD2001 and NHDPlus. 
Old data sources updated including modernized STORET and USGS NWIS.
Press F1 while new download form is open for updated documentation.

Opening of USGS data files (RDB) directly without need to import to WDM.
Opening of data files by dragging them onto the map or onto Manage Data form.

When selecting data sets to analyze, constituent value lists now 
automatically scroll to a matching value if user types a constituent value.

Updated meteorologic (WDM) database through 2006

Improved delineation and model segmentation tools

Improved analysis tools including model output reports, improved graphics

Now able to open MrSid grids.
