Employed by Anderson-Nichols from 1979 to 1985, Mr. Kittle served as Manager of Computer Services and Software in the Palo Alto, CA, office. His activities included directing the design and development of an interactive processor for hydrologic models (ANNIE), supervising maintenance activities for the EPA HSPF model, and coordinating procurement, installation, and operation of the office's first minicomputer system. Mr. Kittle relocated to Decatur, Georgia, in 1984 where he started the Anderson-Nichols Atlanta Office.

In 1985 Mr. Kittle became one of the founding participants at AQUA TERRA Consultants. He had continued active involvement as a technical expert in the areas of computer software design and development, computer hardware installation, and computer user support.

In 1993 Mr. Kittle formed JLKittle Consulting. Over a five year period he focused on system architecture and human computer interface issues related to making advanced analytical techniques and large data bases available to decision makers in a meaningful way.

July 1998 saw Mr. Kittle return to AQUA TERRA Consultants as Senior Vice President. His responsibilities include supervision of staff and subcontractors, development of project work plans and budgeting, and marketing.
